#mikinziedoesnj at The Ritz, featured on "The New Jersey Diner Tour" on Food Network

In this special episode, Guy Fieri takes a diner-intensive road trip -- from breakfast to late night -- all over the state that has more diners than any other place on earth: He checks out the Cyclops pancake with a fried egg in the middle at Mustache Bill's Diner by the lighthouse on Long Beach Island; Home made hash at the Hightstown Diner; Legendary burgers made the same way for six decades at the White Manna in Hackensack; Homemade moussaka at the Jefferson Diner in Lake Hopatcong; Scratch made pie at the Ritz Diner in Livingston; And nightcaps like the Orange Martini made with Tang at the Skylark Diner in Edison.

@Dbreakenridge @valeriesimon and @cgflood gave me my first New Jersey diner experience!

my trends spring 2010: bright tights

Now that we're starting to see heat waves of up to 30-40 degrees here in the midwest, I'm feeling a little bit braver to go barelegged. However, I like wearing tights to help against the chill the winter leaves behind.

Black tights are more appropriate for the fall and seem to clash with spring, so why not go bright?
This is a really cheap way to update your wardrobe. I like wearing my bright tights under a pair of cutoff denim shorts or under a dress with complimentary colors. If you still want to cling onto winter's black wardrobe, this is a good way to brighten up your look.

I'm not a fan of blue tights (and did not include them in the pics) because they make you look like a smurf. 'nuff said.

my trends for spring 2010: nautical

Spring is right around the corner and I'm slowly retiring my chunky sweaters for next year.

One of my favorite spring trends is

Nautical

This is a look you can take from the beach to the city, dressed up or down, with just a few adjustments.

However, on HUGE no-no is going man overboard with this trend. Keep it down to one or two "nautical-inspired" pieces.
